👨‍💼 Speaker Profile

Dr. Eknarin obtained his Master’s degree in Construction Engineer Management from the Asian Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. degree in Construction Management and IT Applications from the University of Teesside, UK. Before completing his research work, he also received a scholarship to attend an entrepreneur business forum at the University of Cambridge. He has over 20 international journals and conference papers in the field of project management, lean construction planning; control, and multi-constraint visualization and optimization.

He inherits technical know-how, and commercial management from WEN company in Thailand before setting up the business in Qatar. For the past 18 years, he has led the company to complete many largest projects in Qatar such as the Asian Games Athletes Village – Hamad Medical City, Sidra Hospital; Research Center, National Museum of Qatar, Doha Metro Stations, and many high-rise buildings in West Bay and Lusail. He holds major shares and sits in the position of Vice President for both WEN Holding and WEN Qatar companies. Currently, he provides consultation services to arrange to finance sizable international projects.

He will share his experiences in alternative project financing models and how to significantly enhance seed capital by leveraging financial instruments as well as obtaining non-recourse loans and profit to support international projects.
